I know, I know what you may be thinking: why is this person going by “MofenderCool”?
So, I thought I would write up an explanation of the name…
Mo- Mo has been my nickname since I was very young so a lot of people who knew me when I was younger- they know me as Mo.
Fender- According to Webster’s Dictionary 1913 in the public domain, the definition of the word Fender is “Anything serving as a cushion to lessen the shock when a vessel comes in contact with another vessel or a wharf.” As someone who has been through multiple traumas and faces multiple chronic illnesses, I hope you know that’s what I want to do. I want to share my stories, my experiences, and my trauma to do exactly that – become that cushion.
That reminds me of this verse: Galatians 6:2 World English Bible “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” And this verse too: Romans 12:15 World English Bible “15 Rejoice with those who rejoice. Weep with those who weep.”
I know not everyone who comes across my content and blog has faith values, and that is okay, and you are still welcome here!
Cool. This is my last name (Cool name, right?). I wanted this place to be personalized to share all of my hobbies, interests, and style in one place while also sharing my personal experiences with chronic illness and trauma.
Now I know all of this isn’t extravagant or perfect, but here’s the thing— neither am I. I’m just going to be here, with authenticity, humility, and grace. So that I can give you a space where you can feel seen and heard, and find things you may need or that may interest you, too!
